Description
Astra 600 chambered in 9mm Luger. Originally built for Germany during World War 2. Due to the fall of Vichy France, only around 12,000 or so Astras were delivered. This particular pistol falls into the 2nd contract (those that were not delivered to Germany in World War 2 but were sold to post war West Germany for police).
Major differences between the 600 and the 400 is a different caliber, shorter barrel, longer grip and push button magazine release vs the 400`s heel release.

I thought the Germans used Lugers until it was phased out by the Walther P38
